Description
One of my favorites. The perfect union of pink, violet and deep purple in a rich blend of opaques and transparents. It leans toward a cool color range and is perfect year round.
Use a steady neutral flame with this blend, not a propane rich reduction flame.
This blend is very easy to work with, both on the surface or encased.
A little bit of silver foil, as shown with the paddle on the right, will reveal a hint of yellow gold, where the silver comes in contact with the frit.
Avoid using Ivory as a base; instead, use a clear or pale, non-reactive glass.
